In the last month and a half, San Carlos Farmers Market patrons and vendors have generously donated over 560 lbs of fresh produce to local food banks through Each Green Corner. The farmers market is a wonderful space for adults and children alike to connect with food systems and get to know local growers. It is also a great opportunity to meet community members who are working dedicatedly to make Each Green Corner’s mission of food security and literacy a reality. Every other Sunday, you can find our booth under a large, green canopy on the corner of Cherry & Laurel Street, from 9am-1pm. Stop by to chat with us about food insecurity in the county and learn what you can do to promote equity and access. We also love talking sustainable and regenerative agriculture! Each Green Corner is currently developing new, exciting material and programming for the booth. Stay tuned for updates!
