Information We May Collect When You Visit the Site
We also may use, collect, track, and store certain data in a form that does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual. We may collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-personal information for any purpose. This data may be collected when you visit the Site or use our Products, including:

- Your device information, such as operating system, browser type, and device type, used to access the Site;

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
EGC takes very seriously the security of the information we collect and maintain. To prevent unauthorized access or disclosures, we utilize physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect all of the information we collect and maintain, including any personal information you voluntarily provide. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide appropriate security for the information we collect and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
We do not intend to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The use of this Site is conditioned, in part, on a certification that the user is at least 13 years of age. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at email@example.com. We will delete such data from our files upon request.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Choice and Op-Out
EGC strives to only send permission-based email for any marketing and/or fundraising purposes. In addition, users always have the opportunity to opt-out or change preferences via a link in the footer of all non-transactional email messages. These options are made available when you sign-up for our email lists and in email messages delivered from our company. Alternatively, you may email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you believe that you have received an unsolicited commercial email from EGC, please report it to us at email@example.com.
Some communications (e.g. important account notifications and billing information) are considered transactional and are necessary for all customers of our Services. Customers may not opt out of these communications.
