Belle Aire Elementary

EGC’s Living Campus Program collaborates with K-12 schools and community sites to design garden-centered outdoor educational settings, and then assist with installation, maintenance, and harvesting of produce grown within the gardens for donation. Our outdoor classrooms teach students about the connection between our food system and the environment, as well as about food insecurity and how community members of all ages can have a positive impact. Students develop competence and interest in agriculture, which they use to lead their own families and the broader community.
